The Early Cloud company was demonstrably successful in building and maintaining mainframe based call center and middleware products. This technology success translated into business growth with many Blue Chip enterprises acquiring and implementing the products across the globe. The software was geared towards extremely large and complex environments. This is where the success of an implementation can have a major financial impact on an organization's bottom line. However, in the year 2000 IBM announced a strategic decision to withdraw from call center products and focus on enabling other software partners to enter this market space. By providing integration software and building large numbers of 3rd party vendor skills in it's world leading Global Services division IBM could focus on it's own core businesses.

FrontWorks recognised this and has created a company to plug this Early Cloud gap for existing users of the software.

Migration

As technology progresses many organisations are considering where they move to next. When do you put your toe in the water? FrontWorks experience with many existing Early Cloud clients gives us unique insight into decisions that are being taken right now to move or upgrade the current applications. Given the scale of the implementations these are not simple or easy decisions to take. Being informed is the key to moving forward.
